TAS Ensemble training course

Dear A Cappella singers! Do you have friends who always wondered what you are doing? Or friends who want to be like you and sing in an A Cappella group? Now they have the chance to do it. Be a part of an A Cappella group now! Join The A Cappella Society of Singapore (TAS) on a 12-week journey forming a group, training A Cappella singing, learning a wide repertoire of songs and culminating in a public performance. The A Cappella Society (TAS) has a series of workshops in June ~ the musical theatre, vocal technique and A Cappella workshops. VoCollision is recruiting !

VoCollision , a mixed-voice a cappella group, is looking for an experienced Vocal Percussionist who is also able to sing Tenor/Baritone. Strong music-learning ability is much preferred. Review on S'pore Art Cafe GOT! showcase on 30 May 2007

The GOT! (stands for Gathering of Talents) showcase at the Singapore Art Cafe was brimming with talents. Such that a big group of curious library visitors stopped by the cafe to watch the showcase at the cafe. The first in the lineup was an acoustic trio of 2 guys and a lady named Soul Session who set the mood for a time of good music. Nextly a young a cappella mixed sextet Beats and Pieces appropriately gave the audience a good idea of what a cappella is by singing a doowop piece"Good Ol' A Cappella" as the first song. The group even sang hits of the early 1990s as "I Do" by now-defunct boyband 98 Degree and current hits like Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" Despite irregularities in pitching, the group didn't fail to lose their composure to hold the audience's attention as the audience asked for encore. However, the highlight of the evening was the beatboxer duo Michelle and Charles who captivated the audience with their vocal band antics
