One More Night @ blue Moo with... After Six

An evening of outdoor A Cappella music by local all-guy group After Six .   Its been 2 years since the guys got together and sadly, it is time to move on. This night of music is held both to thank the group's fans for their support and also to say farewell to Taku, the group's Alto, who will be returning to Japan soon. The songs selected are a culmination of the group's endeavours and growth, consisting of the usual favourites and also some never before performed pieces to be showcased on the night itself. If you fancy a poolside balcony setting overlooking the city with good drinks to spend your Friday night, this would be it. At the same time have a listen to music from the guys with the ridiculously wide vocal range, and the combination of voices you are not likely to ever hear again. After Six: 6 guys, 6 microphones. Enjoy the moment...while it lasts." Watch preview clip of After Six singing @ the Esplanade. Book your tickets [priced @ $15] ...

Equivox's Audition call for Bass, Baritone or Alto

Hi We hope some of you were able to make it to our March 14 concert. We really had a fun time and can't wait to do it again! In the meantime, Equivox is exploring a reconfiguration of our lineup and would like to invite you to help us identify prospective individual(s) to be part of our new sound. We will be holding auditions (tentatively 10am - 1 pm on 24 April, Saturday) for Bass, Baritone or Alto voice parts. Auditionees should have some experience singing in parts, though not necessarily a cappella. Sight-singing, performance experience or other related skills would be a plus. We have no gender preconceptions so surprise us! The auditions will comprise a solo (a cappella), some group singing and chit chat – about half an hour or so. If you know of any promising candidates, we'd appreciate if you pass on their names/ contact to we.are.equivox@gmail.com or any of our individual members so we can follow up with necessary information and arrangement...
