One week to go to our A Cappella workshop as part of Esplanade's Bitesize series. There are still a few tickets left at SISTIC, so come and join us at The Esplanade for a fun post-Xmas family outing to experience first hand how those wonderful Christmas carols are put together! If you're up early on 24 December , make sure to tune in to 938Live's Breakfast Club at 7a m, and listen to our own Director Angelina Choo chit-chatting about A Cappella music. As this year comes to an end, we want to express our thanks for all your support for A Cappella. Esplanade Presents: Bitesize - A Cappella 101 with The A Cappella Society 27 Dec 2008 Sat , 2pm Esplanade Rehearsal Studio $15 via SISTIC website or outlets TAS website : http://www.a-cappella.org.sg Come learn how a cappella groups do it without musical instruments and try it out for yourself! This two hr workshop is conducted by Angelina Choo, Director of the a cappella Youth Voices and the newly set-up TAS Children’s Pop Choir. An Arts Manager by training, she has been performing in choirs since she was six and has been instrumental in the development of Singapore’s a cappella scene through her training, performance and outreach programmes at the society. She continues to pursue a cappella singing through Nanu and new Jazz a cappella group, TAS Singers.
