Camp A Cappella 2004

Hi everyone! A final pitch for Camp A Cappella 2004 :). We are excited to host the 5-time Grammy Award winning group, The Swingle Singers this year and we have our fave clinician Larry Detwiler back again with us and together, they will bring you an excellent line up of workshop topics and classes. It'll be awesome! * Please note we have now bundled the workshops into a one-day event. Date: 4th December Venue: Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Campus 1. Bencoolen Street. From the Desk of the A Cappella Society – Christmas Issue 2004 Seasons Greetings to everyone!The year end is always filled with lots of music-making by acappella singers. A Capella Attack! This event is co-organised by the National ParksBoard and National Arts Council. As it turns out, Christmas is all about little things - little baby,little manger, and O Little Town of Bethlehem - so I think we're ingood company.So we'll be having a little food, a little drink and just oneperforming group this year...and yes, it's going to be Budak. Hello again everyone! Hot off the press! This is another busy month as nanu prepares to leave for Tilburg and notations holds it’s first public concert. Hearty congratulations also to local group, Key Elements who was awarded 2nd place at the Taiwan in the 4th Taiwan Choral Ensemble Competition (Vocal Band category). Bravo guys!! The festival concert is part of our attempt at creating annual programmes to help sustain the popularity of a cappella singing in Singapore, so we need all the support we can get! Tic Tac Tone upcoming gigs for Jul 2004

Yes, Tic Tac Tone will be performing in a variety of events verysoon. Come July, you will see us at the Tapestry event held in Orchard Roadand an acappella competition, Voices Carry. I think the latter will holda largeinterest?This national compeition is opened to schools and the public.Response I heardhas been pretty effusive. Perhaps you are joining as well? Itrust this will bea good opportunity to see many different a cappella groups inone night. I'mreally quite excited :) Do come up to say hi if you do catch us at any performance. Can't believe how time flies!It was just two months ago wasn't it ... when Tic Tac Tone performedat the Esplanade Waterfront?Since then, we bade a fond farewell to Kharliang, who has decided toretire from TTT.
