Music. Life. Love. A cappella. These simple words define what Tic Tac Tone is about. The love for music, the strong bond of friendship, and the passion for life fuel Tic Tac Tone's unique a cappella vocal stylings.

This two-night concert is a celebration of five years of songs andlaughter. From our first rehearsal in May 2000, to our two solo concerts, "Music" in 2002 and "In Transit" in 2003, from our collaboration with The Necessary Stage in the community play, SingSong in 2004, to randomly bursting into song in stairwells and underpasses. These events and others each hold a special place in our hearts.

Tonight, we invite you to take a peek into Tic Tac Tone's secret a cappella diary. Rock, pop, jazz, funk, R&B, all with that requisiteTic Tac Tone twist. From familiar audience favorites to exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, Tic Tac Tone bares all in thisno-holds-barred musical exposé. Join us as we chronicle our musical journeys with songs that speak louder than words.

He introduced a song or 2 from his debut solo album which the instruments were vocalised by him using layering to create a 'band sound'. However, the audience didn't take to his performance. It was grating to the ears when he made certain sounds: more like noise than music to the ears. There was a slight limp in his leg since his recovery from an accident, which prevented him from dancing around the stage too much. I think it's better that he sticks to his vocal percussion than his weak singing or hiphop rap. People were more impressed with his percussion than him singing or rapping. Good & tight harmony I would say. If you have heard Wes Carrol, the group percussionist, Peter Huang seem amateurish. Real solid vocal percussion from Wes.
