For those just catching up, earlier this year we released an EP entitled "Six" (this being the 6th recording, AND we just happen to be a six-member group now.  Gotta love the double entendre)

You actually can listen to selected tracks for FREE on our Facebookpage!

(And while you're there, please make sure to click on the link above and "Like" us to get updates, random videos and MP3's from rehearsal or on the road, and other FOCS info)

If you can't come to either of these shows, check out our promo video and please click LIKE, and also please consider sharing it with your loved ones.  It's like two minutes and twenty two seconds of being on stage AND back stage with FOCS.  But not in the shower (that's another video).

For  more information on these and other upcoming gigs, please swing by the recently revised FOCS site!! Just go to our homepage at focs.com to find out more. And if you're getting this, it means you already are on the update list, so be awesome and tell a friend to sign up.

The House Jacks in Singapore!!

Review: Our local percussionist star, Peter Huang opened the show for the House Jacks (HJs). He introduced a song or 2 from his debut solo album which the instruments were vocalised by him using layering to create a 'band sound'. However, the audience didn't take to his performance. It was grating to the ears when he made certain sounds: more like noise than music to the ears. There was a slight limp in his leg since his recovery from an accident, which prevented him from dancing around the stage too much. I think it's better that he sticks to his vocal percussion than his weak singing or hiphop rap. People were more impressed with his percussion than him singing or rapping. Good & tight harmony I would say. If you have heard Wes Carrol, the group percussionist, Peter Huang seem amateurish. Real solid vocal percussion from Wes. The bass is Bert Bacco, showing off his really deep rumble. Next is Deke Sharon and Garth Kravitis, the group's vocal instrumentalist wh
