Tic Tac Tone: Were you there at the Esplanade?

What a rush! The crowd at the Esplanade Waterfront was simply magnificient. And I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome a couple of new people into our fold :) Thank you guys for coming to our performances, your support is really much much appreciated. It was like "full-house" for both of the sets (woohoo!) and so many new people who heard us and responded so kindly! Thank you, thank you, for your kind comments.

We will continue to work hard! Truly, we are trying out some new songs and don't be surprised :) More bass, more kicks and a whole lot more funky attitude. Our next gig will most likely be on 18 & 19 May 04, ACS (Barker) Concert Hall, at the A Cappella Festival organised by the A Cappella Society of Singapore. Do mark your calendar. We will be airing a new song (like new NEW) and possibly, *gasp* something from Evanescence :)So watch out!

He introduced a song or 2 from his debut solo album which the instruments were vocalised by him using layering to create a 'band sound'. However, the audience didn't take to his performance. It was grating to the ears when he made certain sounds: more like noise than music to the ears. There was a slight limp in his leg since his recovery from an accident, which prevented him from dancing around the stage too much. I think it's better that he sticks to his vocal percussion than his weak singing or hiphop rap. People were more impressed with his percussion than him singing or rapping. Good & tight harmony I would say. If you have heard Wes Carrol, the group percussionist, Peter Huang seem amateurish. Real solid vocal percussion from Wes. The bass is Bert Bacco, showing off his really deep rumble. Next is Deke Sharon and Garth Kravitis, the group's vocal instrumentalist wh
