Secret Diary
A Tic Tac Tone Concert
Esplanade Recital Studio
9 & 10 Sept 2005

Music. Life. Love. A cappella.

These simple words define what Tic Tac Tone (TTT) is about. The love for music, the strong bond of friendship, and the passion for life fuel TTT's unique a cappella vocal stylings. This two-night concert is a celebration of five years of songs and laughter.

From their first rehearsal in May 2000, to their two solo concerts,"Music" in 2002 and "In Transit" 2003, from their collaboration with The Necessary Stage in the community play, Sing Song in 2004, to randomly bursting into song in stairwells and underpasses.

You are invited to take a peek into TTT's secret acappella diary. Rock, pop, jazz, funk, R&B, all with that requisite TTT twist. From familiar audience favorites to exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, TTT bares all in this no-holds-barred musical exposé. Join them as they chronicle their musical journeys with songs that speak louder than words.

Dubbed "Secret Diary", this two-night concert will also be a celebration of five years of songs and laughter with Tic Tac Tone. As a lead-up to the concert, you are invited to visit their new and improved website @ http://www.tictactone.com ! He introduced a song or 2 from his debut solo album which the instruments were vocalised by him using layering to create a 'band sound'. However, the audience didn't take to his performance. It was grating to the ears when he made certain sounds: more like noise than music to the ears. There was a slight limp in his leg since his recovery from an accident, which prevented him from dancing around the stage too much. I think it's better that he sticks to his vocal percussion than his weak singing or hiphop rap. People were more impressed with his percussion than him singing or rapping. Good & tight harmony I would say. If you have heard Wes Carrol, the group percussionist, Peter Huang seem amateurish. Real solid vocal percussion from Wes. The bass is Bert Bacco, showing off his really deep rumble. Next is Deke Sharon and Garth Kravitis, the group's vocal instrumentalist wh
