[TTT Friends] Tic Tac Tone Saturday night LIVE (IMPT Update)

Hello everyone,There has been a change in timing for our Streets Feste(http://www.singaporestreetfestival.com) performance at Heeren. We will be there at 6.30pm instead of seven. So do pop by the stage next to Marche and catch TTT doing some new songs and a couple of our favourite tunes.Do also say hi to Kenneth our new bass and give him your support. If you are staying in the north-east region, then catch us at Maplewood Park (opp. Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School along Lor Ah Soo) at 9pm before you head off for supper :)See you all on Saturday!;)

Howdy e'vrybody!!It is Finally HERE!! Well, I'm not talking about American, I mean Singapore Idol, but TTT's Saturday LIVE show ;)Yup, if you are gonna be in town this weekend and I KNOW you are (cos the GREAT Singapore Sale has started!!), why not run on down to Heeren and catch the opening of Streets Festival . Catch us a tthe stage near Heeren e Marche on 29 May, 7pm.

You will hear some exciting new pieces... That's right! TTT will be premiering BMTL... what's that? Come on down and you will find out :) Our next destination (yes.. on that same day) is to Maplewood Park. Where's that? See attachment. So if you are in the neighbourhood i.e. Hougang orSengkang or Serangoon (I think :p) why not come on down and catch us as well assome really talented jazz bands playing? TTT will be down at Maplewood at 9pm. Spread the word around guys and we hope to see you this saturday!

The House Jacks in Singapore!!

Review: Our local percussionist star, Peter Huang opened the show for the House Jacks (HJs). He introduced a song or 2 from his debut solo album which the instruments were vocalised by him using layering to create a 'band sound'. However, the audience didn't take to his performance. It was grating to the ears when he made certain sounds: more like noise than music to the ears. There was a slight limp in his leg since his recovery from an accident, which prevented him from dancing around the stage too much. I think it's better that he sticks to his vocal percussion than his weak singing or hiphop rap. People were more impressed with his percussion than him singing or rapping. Good & tight harmony I would say. If you have heard Wes Carrol, the group percussionist, Peter Huang seem amateurish. Real solid vocal percussion from Wes. INTERNATIONAL A CAPPELLA FESTIVAL 14 -18OCT 2009 The A Cappella Society would like to invite you to our International A Cappella Festival for 2009. The Festival will take place at the Esplanade Recital Studio and The Arts House Chamber. It will be spread over a period of 5 days, beginning on the 14th of October 2009 and ending on the 18th of October 2009. The International A Cappella Festival will showcase performances from 4 different foreign groups compromising of Permanent Fish from Japan, Rock 4 from The Netherlands, MayTree from Korea and Tux from The Philippines.
